Responsibilities
- Perform infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and park facilities
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) and hand tools safely
- Conduct field inspections and document findings via mobile reporting systems
- Collaborate with remote team members on project planning and scheduling
- Prepare digital reports and maintain electronic work logs from home office
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and environmental protocols
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years construction/maintenance experience
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in digital documentation tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with GIS mapping or CAD software preferred
- Must pass background check and physical fitness assessment
