Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repair, drainage systems, and park facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, dump trucks) under OSHA safety protocols
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related public works incidents
- Conduct routine inspections of public assets and document findings digitally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely via project management software
- Maintain equipment inventory and submit procurement requests through online systems
- Participate in community outreach initiatives for public works projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with digital reporting tools (e.g., GIS software)
- Experience with heavy machinery operation and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
