Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools for infrastructure projects
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and public facility upkeep
- Safely operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, concrete saws) under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Preferred: 1+ years of construction or public works experience
