Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including digging, grading, and material handling
- Maintain public spaces (parks, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on construction sites
- Complete daily maintenance reports and documentation
- Respond to emergency public works calls as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years construction/labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic equipment operation skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
