Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery and hand tools safely under supervision
- Assist in park maintenance, landscaping, and facility upkeep
- Participate in infrastructure repair projects including water and sewer lines
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Document work activities and complete daily progress reports
- Collaborate with crew members to achieve project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- No prior experience required – training provided
