Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including street sweepers and jackhammers
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during inclement weather
- Conduct inspections of public facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years of public works or construction experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
