Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, roads, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks and street sweepers
- Respond to emergency stormwater infrastructure repairs
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Maintain accurate work logs and regulatory compliance documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License
- 3+ years experience in municipal maintenance or related field
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong commitment to public safety and service excellence
- Pass background check and drug screening
