Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, debris removal, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks) under supervision
- Assist in infrastructure repairs for roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Maintain safe work zones and comply with OSHA standards
- Support stormwater management and environmental conservation projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Experience with construction tools and equipment
- Basic math skills for material measurements
