The Role:
We are urgently looking for individuals who take pride in their work and possess a strong work ethic. As a Municipal Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining city vehicles, performing facility upkeep, and assisting in emergency response situations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on municipal vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of public facilities and workspaces.
- Assist in snow removal, road maintenance, and landscaping duties during peak seasons.
- Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines while on the job.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
