Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including street sweepers, dump trucks, and excavators.
- Inspect infrastructure for defects, safety hazards, and necessary repairs.
- Respond promptly to citizen service requests and emergency maintenance calls.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and city policies.
- Collaborate with team members to complete large-scale municipal projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Class C Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in extreme weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and construction principles is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
