Responsibilities
- Oversee infrastructure projects from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using municipal ERP systems
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare progress reports and compliance documentation for City Council and regulatory bodies
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews for construction projects
- Develop RFPs and evaluate contractor bids to optimize public resources
- Implement sustainability best practices in all project phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of municipal project management experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and municipal financial software
- Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to traverse construction sites
- Strong knowledge of FTA/FHWA regulations and procurement processes
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for public presentations
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred
- Experience with ADA compliance and environmental impact assessments
