Responsibilities
- Manage capital improvement projects including roadways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee project budgets exceeding $5M
- Ensure compliance with FDOT and federal standards
- Lead cross-functional teams through project lifecycle
- Prepare progress reports for City Council and stakeholders
- Implement sustainable infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years construction/project management experience
- Valid Florida Professional Engineer license
- Familiarity with municipal procurement processes
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Experience with AutoCAD and GIS software
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
