Responsibilities
- Oversee $50M+ infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and safety standards
- Prepare detailed progress reports for city council and stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams including public works and environmental specialists
- Implement sustainable development practices in all projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in government/public sector
- PMP or CA license required
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of California environmental regulations (CEQA/NEPA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Experience with GIS and project management software
