Responsibilities
- Manage multi-million dollar infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with city departments, contractors, and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans
- Lead cross-functional teams and conduct regular progress reviews
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation and reports for city council
- Implement sustainable and equitable infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in public works/government
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Proven experience with infrastructure construction projects
- Strong knowledge of California Public Contract Code and procurement processes
- Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid California driver's license
