Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of city parks, playgrounds, and green spaces
- Operate heavy equipment (mowers, tractors, snow removal tools)
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and infrastructure
- Assist with emergency storm response and debris cleanup
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and safety documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public projects
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nebraska Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years equipment operation experience
- Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Pass background check and physical fitness assessment
