Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex data modeling
- Lead research on quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for large-scale quantum computations
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Secure $2M+ in research grants and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive open-source quantum AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Theoretical Physics (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum simulation methodologies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable implementations
