Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and machine learning
- Develop quantum software solutions using Qiskit, Cirq, and emerging quantum SDKs
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize algorithm performance
- Research and implement error mitigation techniques for noisy quantum systems
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives and publish research findings
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to quantum education programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with hardware and software specialists
