Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Collaborate with physicists to mitigate decoherence and error correction challenges
- Lead implementation of quantum-safe encryption protocols for enterprise clients
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development and hardware integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum computing systems at scale
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of leading technical projects through to deployment
