Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development and enhancement.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions and database architectures to support critical agency functions.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-level system issues, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Ensure compliance with state security protocols, data privacy laws, and IT governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, developers, and auditors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
- Experience working within a government or large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
