Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum architectures and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to interface quantum processors with classical control systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum computing domains
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum principles
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Passion for solving complex problems at the quantum-classical interface
