Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Lead quantum software architecture for hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-resistant systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and build quantum computing training programs
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and IP frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Proven experience with quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum cryptography
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
- Familiarity with quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
