Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate federal claims for accuracy and completeness according to established regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research using various databases and public records to validate claim information.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, agency personnel, and third-party vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for audit trails and case files.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal privacy laws and data security protocols.
- Identify trends in claims data and recommend process improvements to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to applicants regarding their claims status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Legal, or Public Administration) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims processing, data analysis, or a related administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and reside within the Portland, OR area.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict federal compliance standards.
