Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency hardware and software during weekend shifts.
- Monitor server performance and network traffic, responding immediately to critical alerts and outages.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, NIST standards, and data privacy regulations.
- Manage and resolve IT service tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct routine system maintenance, patching, and security updates during off-hours.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless service continuity.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or federal contracting environments.
- Must be available to work a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday & Sunday).
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
