Job Overview:
In this role, you will serve as the face of the court, assisting the public, attorneys, and judicial officers. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our records and ensuring the efficient flow of court operations.
Responsibilities
- Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date court files, including case filings, judgments, and docket entries.
- Public Assistance: Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and assist the public with court procedures and forms.
- Document Processing: Process and file legal documents, subpoenas, and orders with strict attention to detail.
- Telephone Operations: Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Room Management: Assist in maintaining courtroom decorum, managing jury summons, and preparing for court sessions.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry into the court’s case management system.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous clerical or administrative experience is preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
