Responsibilities
- Operate sanitation trucks to collect residential and commercial waste
- Perform manual lifting of heavy containers (up to 50 lbs)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all operations
- Interact professionally with residents and team members
- Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
- Respond to weather-related emergency collection schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Kentucky Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Experience operating heavy machinery preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
