Responsibilities
- Patrol city facilities and high-priority zones using surveillance systems and foot patrols
- Respond to security alerts, emergencies, and incidents per city protocols
- Monitor access points and enforce safety regulations for personnel/public
- Document incidents, maintenance issues, and suspicious activities in detailed reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement during critical incidents or emergencies
- Conduct security sweeps of buildings and perimeter areas before/after shift
- Provide first aid/CPR assistance when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; criminal justice certification preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and security software
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and holiday rotations
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
