Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow management.
- Prepare and disseminate complex reports, correspondence, and presentations to city officials.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding departmental inquiries.
- Maintain and update confidential records and databases with strict adherence to privacy regulations.
- Coordinate inter-departmental meetings and manage travel arrangements for senior staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a government or public sector administrative role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel macros and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare accurate summaries.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
