- Manage and preserve official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with archival precision
- Oversee public records requests ensuring timely, compliant responses
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration initiatives
- Administer city council agendas, minutes, and legislative documentation
- Serve as primary liaison between citizens and municipal government
- Implement digital record-keeping systems for enhanced accessibility
- Train staff on public records compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years municipal government experience with records management
- Proficiency in municipal software and digital archiving systems
- Tennessee Notary Public certification required
