Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, ordinances, and council minutes with meticulous attention to detail
- Coordinate public records requests and ensure compliance with Kentucky Open Records Act
- Support City Council meetings, including agenda preparation and minute documentation
- Oversee voter registration and election coordination duties
- Maintain digital and physical document archives with secure protocols
- Collaborate with department heads on procedural improvements
- Train staff on records management best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal/government administrative experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Deep knowledge of Kentucky municipal regulations and Sunshine Laws
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g., MMC, CRM) preferred
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
