Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential municipal records with precision and compliance
- Process complex permit applications and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate public meetings and legislative hearings with flawless execution
- Analyze fiscal reports and budgetary data for departmental leadership
- Develop standardized administrative protocols to enhance operational efficiency
- Serve as primary liaison between citizens and government departments
- Train junior clerks on municipal regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 5+ years of municipal/government administrative experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Valid Kentucky Notary Public commission
- Deep knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 61A
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Project management certification (PMP) preferred
