Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and X-ray machines.
- Identify prohibited items and enforce security regulations strictly.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs and resolve security concerns professionally.
- Maintain a secure screening environment and report security anomalies immediately.
- Document screening activities accurately and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and federal partners to ensure public safety.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a medical examination, drug screen, and background investigation.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and operating security equipment.
