Responsibilities
- Case Management: Handle a high volume of incoming queries and manage complex casework regarding welfare benefits and financial support with accuracy and empathy.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, clear, and constructive advice to members of the public, ensuring they understand their entitlements and the application process.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes, identifying efficiency opportunities and implementing solutions.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain precise records and data entry within secure government systems, ensuring full compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) including English and Mathematics, or equivalent vocational qualifications.
- Experience: Proven experience in a customer service, administrative, or case management role within the public sector or a large-scale corporate environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- IT Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM or case management software is highly desirable.
