Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals and conduct security training
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks, FISMA compliance, and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and vulnerability scanning
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
