Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of federal IT systems and networks.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, NIST standards, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate and resolve critical system outages.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure cloud solutions.
- Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance on complex infrastructure issues.
- Document system configurations and maintain comprehensive technical records.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Deep understanding of FISMA, NIST, and DoD security frameworks.
- Proficiency in managing hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud).
- Strong experience with network architecture, server administration, and cybersecurity tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
