Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets from various city departments to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including city planners and policy makers, to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with all federal and state government regulations.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and forecasting to support budget allocation and resource management.
- Design and implement data governance policies to standardize data collection and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the public sector or government environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong working knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and government data standards is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
