Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects within the DWP.
- Develop and implement digital strategies aligned with government policy and user needs.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including ministers, civil servants, and external vendors.
- Ensure all digital products comply with strict UK data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Conduct user research and data analysis to inform product roadmaps and decision-making.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digital or technology role within the public sector or a comparable large-scale organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, UX design principles, and service design frameworks.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with large budgets and diverse teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Full UK security clearance (SC Clearance) or the ability to obtain it.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
