Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to senior stakeholders and policy makers.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP security protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and reporting metrics.
- Automate reporting processes using Python or R to increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across multiple databases and systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and briefings for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis packages.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and data privacy laws.
