Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal information systems and network infrastructure.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement robust security controls.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff.
- Respond to security incidents and perform post-incident analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Secret security clearance.
- Strong understanding of ITIL, cybersecurity frameworks, and federal compliance laws.
