Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal clients.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
- Document all system configurations and maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (NIST, FISMA).
- Train junior staff and ensure adherence to IT best practices and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable federal security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
