Responsibilities
- Administer and process federal pension applications and benefit requests with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze complex pension data to ensure compliance with FERS, CSRS, and Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) regulations.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to federal employees regarding retirement eligibility, calculations, and benefits.
- Conduct regular audits of pension records to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to federal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline pension processing workflows and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal benefits administration, pension management, or retirement planning.
- Deep understanding of FERS, CSRS, and federal retirement laws is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
