Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization environments.
- Implement and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards (NIST 800-171, FISMA).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for mission-critical applications and systems.
- Manage user access control, identity management, and Active Directory administration.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screen.
