Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities across AI, biotech, and sustainability sectors
- Produce actionable scenario plans and risk mitigation strategies for global market shifts
- Establish key performance indicators for future-readiness across organizational departments
- Represent the company at industry conferences as a thought leader on emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
- Author quarterly white papers on paradigm-altering developments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent credential
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning and trend analysis projects
