Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps and strategic foresight frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design and execute scenario-planning workshops for C-level executives and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future insights into innovative product concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, Technology Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech planning
- Proven track record of developing actionable 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or strategic frameworks
