Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for exponential technologies (AI, quantum, bio-engineering)
- Develop 5-10 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Champion cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen product ecosystems
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and responsible innovation
- Lead workshops on future literacy and organizational adaptation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures or leading R&D transformation
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in future studies or tech journals
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience building strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, or similar
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable plans
