Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and statistical analysis to support key city initiatives and budget planning.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for the City Commission and department heads.
- Evaluate existing government policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables align with strategic goals.
- Monitor legislative changes and industry trends to advise leadership on potential impacts.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in government, public sector, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
