Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on municipal policies and urban development trends to support decision-making processes.
- Draft clear, concise policy proposals and reports for the City Council and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and community outreach, to implement government programs effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of city programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and present data-driven presentations to stakeholders and the public.
- Manage complex project timelines and coordinate with external vendors and contractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government, public policy, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
