Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on state policy issues to support legislative and executive decision-making.
- Oversee the administration of federal and state grant programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for assigned programs.
- Collaborate with interagency teams and external stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives effectively.
- Prepare high-level briefings, presentations, and written recommendations for senior leadership.
- Monitor emerging trends and best practices in public administration to recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government operations, public policy analysis, or program management.
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets and ensure strict regulatory compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be eligible for a background investigation/Security Clearance.
