Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports with 95%+ funding success rate
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather technical information for proposals
- Manage complex grant portfolios including compliance tracking and reporting requirements
- Mentor junior staff on best practices in grant development and submission
- Analyze funding trends and adjust strategies to maximize revenue growth
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $1M+ secured annually
- Proven success with federal grants (HRSA, SAMHSA) and foundation proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Health, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in grant management systems (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex programs into fundable narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful $500K+ grant awards
