Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications aligned with organizational goals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with funding partners and community stakeholders
- Manage grant reporting and compliance requirements for funded projects
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance standards
- Collaborate with program teams to develop compelling project narratives and budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record of securing $500k+ in annual grant funding
- Expertise in developing complex project budgets and financial narratives
- Familiarity with major funding sources (e.g., foundations, government agencies)
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Experience with CRM systems and grant databases
