Responsibilities
- Research and identify new grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop and write complex grant proposals (federal, state, foundation, corporate)
- Manage grant application process from research to submission and reporting
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data and impact metrics
- Maintain compliance with funder requirements and grant management systems
- Lead grant strategy meetings and provide training to program staff
- Analyze funding trends and adapt proposals accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of successful grant writing experience with $1M+ awards
- Proven track record with healthcare, education, or human services grants
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Expertise in federal grant applications (HRSA, SAMHSA, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit financial management and reporting
- Proficient with grant databases (e.g., Instrumentl, GrantStation)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
